Last night we tore the intake assembly and valve cover off the latest 318i to try and figure out why it sounds like part of the explosions are happening outside the engine, and it sounds like a diesel at idle. We’re figured a stuck lifter, and one of the injectors looks a bit popped out. On the bright side, it’s Mauritius blue, has sport seats, and very little rust.
My friend did alright for $1400
